Koh Tao Fun diving trips

Koh Tao is a popular diving destination that attracts visitors from all around the world. Koh Tao is a small island on the Gulf of Thailand, it features an array of aquatic resources, including aquatic species. There are various types of coral as well as good visibility. The average temperature is 28 degrees, the typical depth is 10-30 meters, and the time it takes to get between various dive sites is fairly quick. Around Koh Tao, there are over 25 diving sites, including popular dive sites in the Gulf of Thailand such as Sail Rock, Chumphon Pinnacle, South West Pinnacle, and Shark Island, as well as various underwater learning resources such as the HTMS Sattakut, HTMS Suphairin, and HTMS Harnhaksattru.

Approximately 350 distinct species have been documented in the Gulf of Thailand. The waters surrounding Koh Tao are home to a wide variety of marine life, including turtles, schools of fish, butterfly fish, whale sharks, black tip sharks, schools of barracuda. It is also present in many different kinds of animals. Excellent for scuba divers and free divers who enjoy macro and landscape.

Diver prerequisites

  • Certified as PADI (Junior) Scuba Diver
  • 10 years old

** Please note:

  • If it has been more than 12 months since your last dive, we strongly recommend that you complete a Scuba Review to refresh your diving knowledge and skills.
  • It is recommended that you do not fly within 18-24 hours after diving.
