Emergency First Response
When faced with an unexpected emergency, being able to respond quickly and efficiently can make all the difference. The Emergency First Response (EFR) course is a thorough training program designed to provide individuals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to act immediately in critical situations.
Emergency First Response course are provide the study tools for two courses.
- Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR): teach you the steps and techniques for handling life- threatening emergency. You’ll learn nine skills for aiding patients who aren’t breathing normally, have no heartbeat, may have serious bleeding, may be in shock or who have a spinal injury. You’ll learn how to apply the Cycle of Care, so that you provide the patient with every possible chance of survival in the face of the most serious emergencies.

- CPR – Chest Compressions
- CPR – Chest Compressions Combined With Rescue Breathing

- Conscious/Unconscious Choking Adult
Optional Skills – AED use , Emergency Oxygen Use Orientation
- Emergency First Response Secondary Care (First Aid): teaches you what to do when emergency Medical Services (EMS) are either delayed or unavailable. This course also teaches you how to provide first aid patients with condition that aren’t life-threatening. You’ll learn to apply the Cycle of Care in such a way to reduce imminent threats to patient’s life while providing care that reassures, eases pain and reduce the risk of further harm.

Itinerary
Step 1
Sign up and pay for the course, then receive a Emergency First Response e-learning and start.
Day 1
8:30 – 12:00 AM;    Watching Emergency First Response VDO and practice the skills with your instructor so that you become capable and comfortable with it.
13:00 – 14:00 PM;  Scenario practice allows you to practice applying your skills and learning to adapt what you’ve learnt to real-life situations. The emphasis will be on learning the skills such that you are comfortable utilizing them.
14:00 – 15:30 PM; Final Exam
